If you don’t know the name Lynn Shelton, then you can’t claim to be from Seattle. Plain and simple. Lynn Shelton is a phenomenal Director who drives film business to our shared hometown of Seattle. And she makes this city shine in her latest film, LAGGIES. Keira Knightley, Chloë Grace Moretz and Sam Rockwell shine as the stars in this quarter-life comedy by Andrea Seigel. As a 28-year-old facing a marriage proposal she’s not quite ready for, Knightley is as real as it comes. She fools the hell out of you with a solid American accent, as she takes one more secret crack at unbridled youth. It’s a postcard tour of Seattle and it’s a damn fun movie too many of us can relate to. LAGGIES is rated R.
