The first Nut Job movie, if you missed it, was about squirrels in a park and their quest to find food for the winter after Surly (voiced by Will Arnett), accidentally destroys their stockpile. The second installment of the franchise finds us with the same squirrels, happy and fat from their endless supply of nuts from the shop from which they successfully pilfered.
However, their world is turned upside down yet again when their supply is depleted with the destruction of the store upon which they had once relied.
Starring Starring Will Arnett, Katherine Heigl, Maya Rudolph, Jackie Chan, the squirrels (and a funny pug) have to overcome the obstacle of the destruction of their erstwhile food source, as well as the impending doom of their park potentially being destroyed by a developer that wants to turn it into a theme park.
This summer, get ready, get set, and get nuts with The Nut Job 2!
